Movie Making—the Best of the Best Working on the premise of blending the best of stage theater with exciting elements of action movies, with an abiding respect for the ever-enduring storylines from soap operas, including elements of stand-up comedy and finally, well-drawn characters with smart dialogue, the film company has begun a new type of cinema that reaches into the heart and soul of the movie-goer—entertaining the mind and therefore captivating the whole human package. The screenplays are written by Jonathan Richard Cring, recent winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the Top Ten Films in America. “Everybody likes a great recipe, and what we do is find superb stories and blend them in the most exciting way possible while stirring in characters that will last forever,” states Screenwriter Cring. The Extra/Ordinary movies feature many budding actors and artists who are getting a chance to do studio-quality material on a much lower budget. The name Extra/Ordinary came about when Mr. Cring realized that people considered to be ordinary, everyday folk, often have extra-special stories to tell that are even more captivating than the ones produced in Hollywood—movies like Bernee (the story of a waitress struggling with a teen-age daughter and a pesky ex-husband), Ought (the story of a hit-and-run car accident told through the eyes of the perpetrator), and $6 Man, (a tale of a father and his young daughter, forced into the streets as homeless)—just a few of the great, American stories pouring out of the project.
